Ryouma is the strongest member of the Hachibushu, definately the brawn of the team. He came to Tenkuujo at the age of 8, and was chosen as RyuOh at the age of 12. He is a good friend of Hyuga. He is the strong, silent type, but his actions definately speak louder than words. He would willingly sacrifice himself for any of his team. He hates dishonesty and treachery almost as much as Hyuga.

Ryouma's techniques:

• RyuOh Kaengeki (RyuOh Inferno Attack), which creates a fireball in the shape of a dragon
• RyuOh Bakurengeki (RyuOh Explosion Attack), which creates a giant explosion that essentailly melts everything within range. This first appears in OAV 4.

Near the end of the series, Ryouma marries Matsuri, a girl from his home village.
